การสร้างแผ่น BOOT
เพื่อติดตั้ง Linux
- ถ้าใช้ Windows95 อยู่ ให้ออกไปที่ Dos Mode
โดยคลิกที่ Start --- Shutdown --- เลือกที่ Restart the computer in
MS-DOS Mode แล้วคลิกที่ OK
- ไปที่ CD-ROM Drive ( D: หรือ E:)
- พิมพ์ EZSTART แล้วกดปุ่ม Enter เพื่อเรียก Bat File
สำหรับสร้าง แผ่นBoot Linux
- เครื่องจะถามว่า
You have not selected aboot image file on the command line
A boot image can be selected by typing EZSTART (bootimage.s or bootimage.i) at command
line
Additional information regarding this subject can be found in the bootdsks.144 or
bootdsks.12 subdiredtory in the file WHICH.one
Would you like to see the available boot images (y,N)? |
- เมื่อกดปุ่ม Y จะมีลายละเอียดของ Bootimages file
ให้เลือกดังตัวอย่าง
- ให้เลือก boot image เพียงอันเดียว โดยให้พิจารณาที่
slackware source drive, slackware target drive
ให้ใกล้เคียงกับระบบของเครื่องที่มี เช่น
BARE.I source drive คือ IDE CD-ROM(ATAPI) target drive คือ
IDE HARDDISK
- เมื่อเลือกได้แล้ว ให้พิมพ์ EZSTART BARE.I หรือ
bootimage อื่นๆ ที่เลือกไว้
- จะมีข้อความบางส่วน ขึ้นมาว่า
ํYou will need 2 formatted dos diskettes to install slackware 3.4
Have you formatted 2 diskettes (Y,N)? |
- ให้กดปุ่ม Y แล้วจะมีข้อความ
| Press 3 for 1.44 Mb floppies or 5 for 1.2 Mb
floppies (3,5)? |
- ให้กดปุ่มเลข 3 ถ้าใช้แผ่นดิกส์ 1.44 Mb
แล้จะมีข้อความ
| Enter the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive [C...Z] |
- ให้กดปุ่มตัวอักษรที่เป็น CD ROM drive เช่น D หรือ E
จะมีข้อความ
Put your floppy diskette marked BOOT in floppy drive now
Press any key to continue.... |
- ให้ใส่แผ่น disk แล้วกดปุ่ม Enter
และรอจนกว่าการสร้างแผ่น BOOT DISK จะเรียบร้อย
จะมีข้อความว่า
| Remove the boot diskette from the drive now and press any key |
- ให้ดึงแผ่น disk ออก แล้วกดปุ่ม Enter จะมีข้อความ
Put your floppy diskette marked ROOT in the floppy drive now
Press any key to continue.... |
- ให้ใส่แผ่น disk แล้วกดปุ่ม Enter จะมีข้อความ ดังรูป
- ในที่นี้ให้เลือก A แล้วรอการสร้างแผ่น ROOT DISK
เมื่อเรียบร้อยแล้ว ให้กดปุ่ม Enter
- การสร้างแผ่น Boot และ root
ได้ดำเนินการเสร็จเรียบร้อยแล้ว
