Installation
You can use the BDF fonts as is, or install them to the system in compressed PCF format, using the normal GNU build process:
$ ./configure [options] $ make # make install
You can specify the target install directory with the --with-fontdir=DIR
option. The default value is the usual location for misc fonts in X. Try ./configure --help
to see the full list of available options.
Tools
You can use any BDF font editor to edit the fonts, for example:
